STIX-DEM European space project)
Art of Technology, together with prime contractor Almatech Sarl, has won a contract from the European Space Agency (ESA) for the design, development, production and supply of the Detector Electronics Module (DEM) used in the Spectrometer/Telescope for Imaging X-Rays (STIX). STIX is a Swiss experiment under the leadership of the University of Applied Science Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) funded by the Swiss Space Office and is one of ten instruments on-board the Solar Orbiter which is scheduled for launch in 2018.
Art of Technology successfully completed the maintenance audit for certification to ISO9001 and ISO13485 (for medical devices including active implants). The management thanks the entire team for their excellent work and look forward to continuing to support our customers with the development of innovative electronic devices and systems.
